Según James Suckling, la cosecha 2018 de este grandioso vino alcanzó el segundo Iugar en listado de los mejores vinos chilenos, de un total de 1.088 catados, y el puesto 84 dentro del top 100 mundial para el 2021. Purple Angel obtuvo por tercer año consecutivo, 98 de 100 puntos posibles.

Las notas de cata de Suckling lo dicen todo. “Moro, arándano, salvia y cinco especias en nariz. De cuerpo medio a pleno con taninos finos. Equilibrado y cremoso con un paladar de carácter fresco y jugoso. Textura sedosa con gran estructura. Final sabroso con duración. Post gusto picante y especiado. Una mezcla de 92% de Carmenére y 8% de Petit Verdot. Probar en 2023”.
