Trekking

Botanical Trail

Embark on a ~6-kilometre (approximately 6km) trail that winds through our vineyards and up the slopes of Cerro Divisadero. Along the way you’ll identify more than 100 native Chilean species - trees, shrubs, and flowering plants - many found nowhere else on earth (many of them endemic to the region) and carefully preserved by Montes Wines. All the while, taking in the spectacular views of the Apalta Valley.

La vegetación natural que la Viña ha preservado es de gran interés y muy representativa de la zona, con más de 100 especies distintas y un elevado porcentaje de plantas endémicas, que sólo crecen en Chile.

Program

  • Guided hike along the botanical trail, of moderate difficulty. Outdoor or comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear are recommended.
  • Concludes in the Barrel Room, with Gregorian chants and a tasting of our Premium wine.
