D.O. Colchagua

Colchagua is one of Chile`s most prestigious wine valleys, where Viña Montes was a pioneer in establishing its production. Located in the central part of the country, it houses vineyards in Apalta and Marchigüe, two exceptional terroirs. Apalta, with its gentle sun exposure, allows for a slow and complete maturation of the grapes, while in Marchigüe, close to the Pacific Ocean, the red grapes mature under the influence of cooler temperatures.
