Montes Taita

Taita is an elegant, concentrated, and complex wine with an extraordinarily limited production. It is a super icon, crafted with the utmost enological precision. Its predominant variety is Cabernet Sauvignon, and each year, based on the harvest`s outcome, Aurelio Montes personally selects the additional varieties to include in the blend.

D.O. MARCHIGÜE

in the Valley Colchagua

Located in the Colchagua Valley, between the Coastal Range and the sea, our Marchigüe vineyards are set within a rolling landscape that stretches to the Pacific Ocean, just 25 km away. Here, red grapes ripe slowly under the influence of cooler temperatures. The topography is flatter than Apalta, featuring gently sloping hills. The soils are shallow, often no deeper than 60 cm, with a medium clay content and a high water retention capacity.
