The grapes develop under the influence of the sea, with cold breezes from the Pacific Ocean, which allow the vines to develop a unique elegance and character. In this valley, cold-climate varieties are primarily grown, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.

ZAPALLAR

Just 11 km from the Pacific Ocean and located in the northern part of the Aconcagua Costa wine region, Viña Montes is the only winery with vines planted in this new D.O. It is characterized by having summers with fresh, cloudy mornings, midday sunshine, followed by clouds and cooler temperatures in the afternoon. These conditions promote the slow maturation of the grapes, contributing to the development of complexity and powerful aromas.
