Valle del Maipo
Alto Maipo is a vineyard situated on the foothills of the Andes Mountains, approximately 460 metres above sea level, on the southern bank of the Maipo River. The vineyard rests on an alluvial terrace formed by sediments carried by the Maipo River over millions of years. The soils are low in fertility and offer excellent drainage due to the presence of alluvial stones combined with clay, silt, and sand. This allows for the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon vines with controlled vigour, resulting in a wine of subtle elegance and refinement.
